Head of Venue Technology Delivery

About the role

The Head of Venue Technology Delivery leads the end‑to‑end implementation of advanced technology solutions for stadiums, sports venues and large international events. This senior position ensures seamless integration of ICT, AV and ELV systems, enhancing operational readiness and the event‑day experience for all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full delivery lifecycle of venue technology projects from concept through to operational handover.
• Manage RFP creation, tendering, vendor evaluation, contract coordination and post‑award execution.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, technical specifications, implementation plans and reporting frameworks.
• Coordinate execution with vendors, consultants, contractors and internal teams, ensuring alignment with operational and engineering requirements.
• Define functional and technical requirements for venue technology infrastructure.
• Monitor performance, risks, timelines, budgets and quality to guarantee successful outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory and cybersecurity requirements.
• Lead contract performance management and vendor compliance activities.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, integration validation and transition to operations.
• Provide executive‑level updates, dashboards and status reports to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience delivering complex ICT/AV/ELV projects in stadiums, venues or large‑scale events.
• Proven track record in vendor management, contract coordination and RFP processes.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity standards and regulatory compliance for venue environments.
