IT Executive

About the role

The IT Executive will ensure the smooth operation of all technology systems within the Mövenpick Hotel Doha. This role provides day‑to‑day technical support to all departments, safeguards data integrity, and contributes to a secure and efficient IT environment in a fast‑paced hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support computers, servers, network devices, telephony, and POS systems.
• Provide technical assistance to users and resolve hardware/software issues promptly.
• Install and configure IT equipment for new and existing staff.
• Monitor system performance and ensure optimal functionality.
• Implement and test backup procedures regularly.
• Uphold IT security standards and protect systems from threats.
• Control user access and align permissions with job roles.
• Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and upgrades.
• Document systems, licenses, and configurations accurately.
• Offer basic IT training and support staff as needed.
• Assist with IT budgeting and reporting to management.
• Respond to IT emergencies and support operational needs.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• 1–3 years of IT support experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑moving environment.
