Managing Director – Qatar

About the role

talabat, the leading food and Q‑commerce marketplace in Qatar, is looking for a Managing Director to drive growth across its food, grocery and ecosystem products. Key responsibilities

• Represent the local voice to regional teams and collaborate with the Chief International Officer and other C‑level executives.
• Design and implement a seamless operating model across food and Q‑commerce verticals, maximizing synergies and fostering a growth‑focused culture.
• Define quarterly OKRs and priorities for the Qatar team.
• Act as the primary stakeholder for Product and Technology, setting priorities and solving issues.
• Own the full P&L, develop and execute the country strategy, negotiate budgets and ensure EBITDA targets are met.
• Lead a large, diverse team across logistics, marketing, sales, performance and partnerships.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations and represent the company in legal, public relations, communications and government matters.
• Identify and analyse new growth opportunities and leverage data‑driven decision making.
• Launch transformational programmes locally, regionally and globally, driving continuous improvement.
