Principal Cyber Defense Analyst

About the role

As a Security Consultant within Mandiant, part of Google Cloud, you will help clients prepare for, mitigate, detect, and respond to sophisticated cyber threats. You will leverage deep technical knowledge of operating systems, networking, cloud services, and incident response to protect critical assets and guide executive stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify gaps in customer Cyber Defense Centers and design improvement strategies.
• Advise on Cyber Defense Center, CSIRT, and SOC management, including technical solution recommendations.
• Research and apply cybersecurity intelligence, attacker techniques, containment methods, and remediation processes.
• Lead forensic analysis, threat hunting, malware triage, and high‑profile incident engagements.
• Communicate complex security concepts to business leaders, executive teams, and technical contributors.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience designing and assessing cybersecurity solutions across multiple domains.
• Proven experience managing incident response activities.
• Fluent Arabic for client‑facing interactions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
