Senior Network Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer with 8‑10 years of enterprise networking experience to lead 24x7 network operations across data‑center and campus environments. The role combines hands‑on technical work with ITIL‑aligned incident, change, and problem management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage incident, change, and problem processes for Cisco ACI, SD‑ACCESS, and campus/data‑center networks.
• Operate and maintain Cisco ACI fabric, including EPGs, BDs, VRFs, L3Outs, contracts, service graphs, and Multi‑Pod configurations.
• Administer Cisco SD‑ACCESS environments using DNA Center and Cisco ISE (VN/VRF, VXLAN, LISP, SGT, fabric provisioning).
• Execute network deployments, migrations, expansions, and upgrades for ACI and DNA Center/IOS‑XE.
• Provide 24x7 operational support and on‑call coverage for critical incidents.
• Collaborate with vendors and Cisco TAC to resolve complex issues.
• Work with application, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure connectivity and policy enforcement.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of enterprise networking experience in data‑center and campus environments.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on Cisco ACI experience and 4 years with Cisco SD‑ACCESS/DNA Center.
• Strong background in ITIL‑aligned operational environments and 24x7 managed services.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Process‑oriented mindset with a focus on operational excellence.

• Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, ASR platforms
• ITIL Incident, Change, and Problem Management
• Network automation: Python, Ansible, Terraform
• VMware NSX‑T exposure
• CCIE Data Center / Enterprise certification (preferred)
