Accounting Supervisor

About the role

The Accounting Supervisor will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records for St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Doha. This full‑time position supports the finance team by handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks, preparing reports, and assisting with period‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Check figures, postings and documents for accuracy.
• Organise, secure and maintain files, records, cash and cash equivalents in line with policies.
• Record, store and analyse computerized financial information.
• Classify, code and summarise numerical data using journals, ledgers and accounting software.
• Prepare, audit and distribute financial, accounting and payroll reports.
• Complete period‑end closing procedures and related reports.
• Prepare, review, reconcile and issue invoices and account statements.
• Follow up on past‑due accounts and vendor invoices until resolved.
• Coordinate tasks with other departments and act as a role model for quality standards.
• Report accidents or injuries promptly and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 12 months of related accounting or finance experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Willingness to adhere to company policies and maintain a professional appearance.
