Accounts Receivable Accountant - Arabic Speaker

About the role

An experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant is sought, fluent in Arabic, with at least 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in large organizations and years of experience in the GCC. The role covers managing receivables, collections, payment allocation and month-end closing.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable transactions, invoicing and customer account reconciliations
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers to ensure timely collections
• Allocate incoming payments accurately and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and review accounts receivable ageing reports
• Support month-end closing and ensure accurate financial records
• Maintain customer accounts and ensure compliance with company financial procedures
• Prepare regular reports on outstanding balances and collection status

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable
• At least 2 years in large organizations and years of GCC experience
• Fluency in Arabic
• Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills

Required skills

• Strong hands-on SAP experience (mandatory)
• Invoicing, collections, payment allocation and account reconciliations
• AR ageing reports and month-end closing support
