AFL Teacher

About the role

The International Schools Partnership Limited is seeking an enthusiastic AFL Teacher to join its Arabic department in Doha. You will work with IB Arabic B and AB students, delivering engaging lessons that align with the IB curriculum and Qatar MOEHE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess well‑structured lessons for IB Arabic B and AB classes.
• Create a safe, respectful learning environment that motivates pupils of diverse abilities.
• Monitor and report on pupil attainment, progress and outcomes.
• Develop and maintain curriculum resources, schemes of work and assessment tools.
• Embed IB pedagogy into daily teaching practice.
• Set and mark homework, and organise out‑of‑class activities to reinforce learning.

Required profile

• Teaching certification recognised by the Qatar Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
• Minimum three years (36 months) of relevant teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of the IB Arabic B and AB syllabi.
• Ability to set high expectations and foster a culture of academic curiosity.
