AI/ML Engineer – AI & Data Team

About the role

We are looking for an AI/ML Engineer to join the AI & Data team supporting the Central Bank of Qatar’s Data Management Programme (Phase 3). You will design and deliver production‑ready AI solutions that leverage both cloud and on‑premises environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI applications using generative models, deep learning, neural networks, chatbots and image‑processing techniques.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable AI architectures that meet project requirements and quality standards.
• Integrate machine‑learning models into broader system landscapes in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Provide technical guidance, mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing.
• Analyse complex data sets to optimise model performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend adoption to sustain innovation.

Required profile

• Subject‑matter expert in Machine Learning with a proven track record of delivering AI solutions.
• Strong leadership and decision‑making abilities, capable of coordinating multiple teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to contribute to strategic technical decisions.
