Android Developer

About the role

We are seeking an Android Developer to join EPAM’s Doha team, working in a hybrid model on mobile banking applications. You will contribute to fast‑paced, customer‑centric solutions within an agile, interdisciplinary pod.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain native Android banking apps using Java and Kotlin.
• Fix bugs, refactor code, and write unit tests to ensure high quality.
• Implement new features that meet functional and performance requirements.
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with UX designers, architects, backend developers and QA engineers.
• Integrate external data sources and APIs, and explore new technologies for efficient development.
• Set up and automate continuous testing and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of native Android development experience.
• Strong understanding of secure, robust and scalable app design.
• Proficiency with Android UI guidelines and design principles.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Analytical mindset for solving complex engineering challenges.
