Application Specialist – SharePoint Systems Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Application Specialist to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of our enterprise applications, with a focus on Microsoft SharePoint. The role involves supporting existing systems, troubleshooting incidents, and contributing to new application development and enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and maintenance for enterprise applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application incidents, performance issues, and operational problems.
• Support Microsoft SharePoint configurations, workflows, and integrations.
• Monitor application performance, availability, and system health.
• Assist in designing, developing, testing, and implementing new applications and enhancements.
• Gather and document business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
• Develop test cases and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Integrate applications with existing systems for seamless data exchange.
• Prepare and maintain technical specifications, user manuals, guides, FAQs, and documentation.
• Deliver end‑user training and support change‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in enterprise application support, systems operations, or application management.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python.
• Good understanding of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
