Assistant Villa Operations Manager

About the role

The Assistant Villa Operations Manager supports the Villa Operations Manager in delivering premium guest experiences at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara. This role blends operational leadership with hands‑on service, ensuring the private villas operate flawlessly and guests receive personalized, luxury service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily management of all resort villas, overseeing check‑ins, check‑outs, housekeeping, and maintenance coordination.
• Supervise Villa Hosts, schedule shifts, coach performance, and maintain high service standards.
• Inspect villas before arrivals to guarantee luxury quality and readiness.
• Handle VIP arrivals, guest preferences, and bespoke services.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, health, safety, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and Guest Relations for seamless experiences.
• Monitor operational costs and assist with departmental budgeting.
• Maintain accurate guest history and preferences in Opera PMS.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Tourism or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum two years of experience in villa operations or luxury resort environments.
• Background in 5‑star hotels or resorts, preferably with butler or villa host services.
• Strong leadership, communication, and guest‑service abilities.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Opera PMS (or similar hotel management system) knowledge.
