Assistant Villa Operations Manager

About the role

The Assistant Villa Operations Manager supports the Villa Operations Manager in delivering world‑class luxury experiences for guests staying in the private villas at Banana Island Resort Doha. This mid‑level position blends operational leadership, guest‑service excellence, and cross‑department coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily management of all villa operations, including check‑ins, check‑outs, housekeeping, and maintenance.
• Supervise and coach Villa Hosts, ensuring service standards meet luxury expectations.
• Inspect villas before guest arrivals to guarantee readiness and quality.
• Handle VIP arrivals, personalized guest preferences, and resolve complaints promptly.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and Guest Relations for seamless service delivery.
• Monitor operational costs, support budgeting, and maintain accurate guest history in Opera PMS.
• Ensure compliance with resort SOPs, health, safety, and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Tourism or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in villa operations or luxury resort environments.
• Background in 5‑star hotels or resorts, preferably with butler or villa host services.
• Strong leadership, communication, and guest‑service abilities.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera PMS or similar hotel management systems.
