Assistant/Associate Professor – Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Imaging

About the role

The University of Doha for Science and Technology seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor for its Department of Medical Imaging, focusing on Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Imaging. The position involves teaching, research, and service within the College of Health Sciences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and evaluate undergraduate and graduate courses in medical imaging.
• Assess student progress and manage learning resources.
• Collaborate with industry partners and participate in advisory committees.
• Coordinate projects, maintain accreditation documentation, and contribute to curriculum improvement.
• Engage in professional and community activities beyond the university.

Required profile

• PhD (or equivalent) in Medical Imaging with a focus on Diagnostic Ultrasound, plus MSc and BSc qualifications.
• Minimum three years of full‑time post‑doctoral teaching experience at university level.
• Demonstrated clinical practice in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Imaging.
• Strong background in Medical Imaging Physics and ability to teach related topics.
• Experience in curriculum development, program review, accreditation, and use of modern educational technologies.
