Audio Visual Engineer

About the role

The Audio Visual Engineer will join H Robert Guild Associates Inc’s Doha office to design, install, configure and maintain a range of AV solutions, including digital signage and video‑conferencing systems. Working on‑site, you will collaborate with internal teams, vendors and clients to ensure AV installations meet performance and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and engineer AV system layouts based on project specifications.
• Install, test and commission AV equipment, digital signage displays and video‑conferencing hardware.
• Integrate AV control systems and ensure seamless interaction with networking infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, performing corrective maintenance as needed.
• Document configurations, schematics and maintenance procedures.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of cabling, networking basics and ability to read technical drawings.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
