BMS Operator

About the role

The Building Management System (BMS) Operator is responsible for monitoring, operating, and controlling HVAC and utility systems through BMS, LMV and DCP platforms. The role ensures safe, efficient operation of chilled water plants and related equipment while supporting optimal building performance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and operate BMS, LMV and DCP control systems on a daily basis.
• Supervise chilled water production plants, HVAC systems and associated utility equipment.
• Track system parameters, alarms, trends and performance indicators to maintain efficiency.
• Identify faults or abnormalities and coordinate escalation with maintenance teams.
• Operate safety, shutdown and emergency control systems according to approved procedures.
• Maintain accurate operational logs, reports and system records.
• Analyze data to recommend performance improvements and energy optimisation.
• Support preventive maintenance by providing operational feedback.

Required profile

• Completion of secondary education (12 years) and a three‑year diploma in Mechanical, Process or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical or instrumentation plant operations, preferably in oil & gas, refinery or district cooling environments.
• Age preference between 25 and 30 years.
