Business Analyst – IT (Qatari Nationals Only)

About the role

The Business Analyst – IT will manage business requirements and ensure that IT solutions meet the organisation's objectives. The role covers requirements gathering, functional and interface specification, test scenario creation, system testing, user acceptance support and post‑go‑live assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and analyse operational requirements, identifying problems and opportunities.
• Capture and document business requirements with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support business units in preparing business cases for automation and IT procurement, including benefit, NPV and ROI analysis.
• Collaborate with the QRIT Account Management team to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Analyse and document system interface specifications and non‑functional requirements following QRIT SGI guidelines.
• Conduct domain and requirements training for software delivery teams.
• Identify, document and manage test scenarios, test data and test cases.
• Perform system testing, manage defect lifecycle and coordinate defect resolution with development teams.
• Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing and obtain sign‑off from stakeholders.
• Assist business users with production data review, configuration set‑up and access privileges.
• Identify potential IT opportunities leveraging new technologies.

Required profile

• Qatari national.
