CCIE Engineer (Cisco ACI Specialist)

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Center Engineer with deep expertise in Cisco Data Center architectures to lead the design, implementation, and migration of our enterprise network infrastructure in Doha.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and implement Cisco ACI fabric using leaf‑spine architecture.
• Configure and manage advanced ACI policies including Tenants, VRFs, Bridge Domains, EPGs, Contracts, L3Out, and Application Profiles.
• Lead migration from legacy network architectures to Cisco ACI.
• Install, configure, and manage Cisco Nexus switches (9000, 7000, 5000 series) with VXLAN EVPN, vPC, OSPF, BGP, and static routing.
• Deploy and administer Cisco UCS B‑Series and C‑Series servers, including Fabric Interconnects, Service Profiles, VLANs, VSANs, firmware upgrades, and UCS Manager.
• Integrate Cisco ACI fabrics with VMware vCenter, Hyper‑V, or other virtualization platforms.
• Prepare high‑quality technical documentation (HLD, LLD, MOP, As‑Built) and ensure governance.
• Perform lifecycle management, software upgrades, patching, health checks, and provide expert troubleshooting during implementations and maintenance windows.

Required profile

• CCIE Data Center or CCIE Routing & Switching certification (highly preferred).
• Cisco Certified Specialist – ACI Implementation.
• 5–10+ years of experience in Cisco Data Center networking.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on Cisco ACI implementation in production environments.
• Proven track record deploying Cisco UCS infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of core protocols: VXLAN, EVPN, vPC, VLAN, STP, HSRP, OSPF, BGP.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) is a strong plus.
