Clinical Psychologist

About the role

Espoir Psychiatric Center in Doha is seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist fluent in Arabic to join its multidisciplinary team. The professional will deliver comprehensive psychological assessments, therapy, and counseling to a diverse patient population within a specialized mental health facility.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations, including administration and interpretation of psychometric tests.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling services using evidence‑based approaches.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and other professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in accordance with professional standards.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology.
• Fluency in Arabic and proficiency in English.
• Experience working in a clinical or psychiatric setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Additional certifications in CBT, ACT, or other evidence‑based therapies are preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in administering and interpreting psychometric instruments such as WAIS and MMPI.
• Competence in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
• Competence in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
