Cloud Architect

About the role

The Cloud Architect will design, implement and manage secure, scalable, and highly‑available cloud and hybrid‑cloud solutions across Azure, Google Cloud Platform and on‑premises hyper‑converged infrastructure. You will ensure robust governance, automation and security compliance while aligning cloud strategies with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver multi‑cloud architectures on Azure and GCP, optimizing performance, cost and scalability.
• Integrate on‑premises data centres with cloud platforms, managing VMware vSphere, vSAN, NSX‑T and Nutanix NCM/AHV environments.
• Lead cloud modernization, migration and transformation projects, including Azure VMware Solution (AVS) and Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE).
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Azure Bicep, ARM templates and GCP Deployment Manager.
• Create cloud landing zones, networking topologies, identity and security integrations.
• Ensure high‑availability, disaster‑recovery, backup and failover strategies for all workloads.
• Operate daily cloud monitoring, incident response and troubleshooting across compute, network and storage layers.
• Produce technical design documents, governance frameworks and present solutions to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing Azure environments.
• At least 3 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• 3 years of experience in cloud virtualization and high‑availability management.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
