Cloud Security Specialist

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Cloud Security Specialist to strengthen the security posture of its multi‑cloud environments. The focus is on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) while also covering AWS and Azure. You will collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to design, implement, and operate secure cloud‑native solutions that meet industry and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls across GCP, AWS, and Azure environments.
• Secure cloud‑native services such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Compute Engine, and Cloud Storage.
• Implement and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Identity‑Aware Proxy (IAP) for least‑privilege access.
• Configure network security using VPCs, Cloud Armor, Cloud VPN, and firewall rules.
• Apply data protection mechanisms including encryption, Cloud KMS, Secret Manager, and data loss prevention.
• Monitor, detect, and respond to security events via Security Command Center, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Monitoring.
• Conduct cloud security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and misconfiguration reviews.
• Support incident response and forensic activities for cloud‑related incidents.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.

Required profile

• Strong experience securing GCP workloads, with exposure to AWS and Azure.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud‑native services such as GKE, Compute Engine, and Cloud Storage.
• Solid understanding of IAM, network security, encryption, and key management in cloud environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional engineering and security teams.
