Collection Officer – Bilingual Arabic

About the role

The Collection Officer is responsible for managing all student fee collections, parent accounts, educational coupons and claims, and related cash handling at Hayat Universal School. The role ensures timely receipt of payments, accurate record‑keeping and compliance with the school’s financial policies.

Key responsibilities

• Collect tuition, registration, transportation and other school‑related fees and record them in the financial system.
• Process additional income streams such as after‑school activities, trips, uniforms, books and testing fees.
• Maintain up‑to‑date fee collection records and allocate payments to the correct student and parent accounts.
• Monitor collections against budget targets and prepare daily, weekly and monthly collection reports.
• Follow up overdue accounts through phone calls, emails, SMS reminders and direct communication with parents.
• Manage parent accounts, including reconciliation, discounts, waivers, refunds, additions and cancellations.
• Provide parents with account statements, payment confirmations and official financial letters.
• Support the Finance Department with account reconciliation, vendor coordination and selected procurement activities.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in accounts receivable, fee collection or related financial administration.
• Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English.
• Full‑time availability.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle cash and financial documentation accurately.
