Commercial Manager – Major Infrastructure Programme

About the role

The position is part of a large multidisciplinary consultancy delivering a high‑value infrastructure and built‑environment programme for a government‑backed client in Qatar. You will lead post‑contract commercial management of major construction work packages, ensuring contractual and financial control throughout delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage commercial aspects of large construction packages after contract award.
• Coordinate with the client, project management teams, consultants and Tier 1 contractors.
• Control variations, interim valuations, payments and final accounts.
• Produce cost control reports, commercial forecasts and progress updates.
• Handle claims, contractual matters and change management processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years (144 months) of experience in commercial management or quantity surveying.
• Proven background in major buildings, infrastructure, transport or aviation projects.
• Experience working in a live, operational environment on high‑value contracts.
• Strong analytical and financial control skills.
