About the role
We are seeking a Commissioning Engineer (Instrument & Control) to join a major oil & gas operator on a multi‑billion offshore redevelopment project that includes both greenfield and brownfield scopes. The position is based at the Doha headquarters with regular offshore site visits and operates on a 29‑day on / 27‑day off rotation.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and compile comprehensive commissioning dossiers for offshore use.
- Ensure technical standards and internationally accepted engineering practices are applied throughout commissioning.
- Oversee safe and effective commissioning of plant and equipment in offshore environments.
- Collaborate with multicultural teams and support the operations commissioning team during offshore execution.
Required profile
- B.E. / B.Sc. degree in Instrumentation Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of commissioning experience, primarily in brownfield modifications for oil & gas or similar facilities.
- Proven offshore commissioning experience and ability to work in multicultural settings.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
