Company Site Representative – Diving Support Vessel

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Company Site Representative to join a major oil & gas operator on a Diving Support Vessel (DSV) offshore Qatar. The role is a 36‑month fixed‑term contract with a 28‑day on/28‑day off rotation, providing senior leadership and safety oversight for subsea construction activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the on‑board team and act as the main interface between the contractor’s DSV crew and the client’s on‑shore project management team.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with company specifications, procedures, risk assessments, and safety plans during subsea construction.
• Oversee dive and ROV equipment audits, ensuring certifications are current and corrective actions are completed.
• Manage incident response, SIMOPS coordination, and permit‑to‑work (PTW) within 500 m of client assets.
• Collaborate with the client’s Marine Lead to verify vessel compliance and marine activity safety.
• Facilitate problem solving and decision‑making in a multicultural offshore environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior CSR, Offshore Construction Manager, or similar role on DSVs.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multi‑cultural teams offshore.
• Excellent knowledge of offshore safety processes, FRA/HIRA, HAZID, and SIMOPS.
• Ability to work independently and make cost‑effective decisions under pressure.
