Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist – Surgical Specialist

About the role

The Taleb Group and the Turkish Hospital in Doha are seeking an experienced Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist / Gynaecological Surgeon. The role involves delivering high‑quality surgical and clinical care across a wide range of obstetric and gynaecological conditions, with a focus on patient safety and excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist consultation, diagnosis, treatment and follow‑up for obstetric and gynaecological patients.
• Perform a variety of open and minimally invasive surgical procedures safely and effectively.
• Assess patients pre‑operatively and manage post‑operative care.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with anaesthetists, nurses, midwives and other multidisciplinary team members.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with governance, infection control and patient‑safety standards.
• Participate in case reviews, clinical discussions and quality‑improvement activities.
• Communicate clearly with patients and families, providing appropriate counselling.

Required profile

• Board‑certified obstetrician‑gynaecologist with several years of consultant experience.
• Demonstrated competence in both open and minimally invasive gynaecological surgery.
• Strong clinical judgement, excellent surgical skills and a commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of clinical guidelines and best practices.
