Consultant Ophthalmologist – Glaucoma & Oculoplastic Specialist

About the role

We are seeking experienced Consultant Ophthalmologists to join Magrabi Health Qatar’s expanding ophthalmology department. Two specialist positions are available: one focused on glaucoma and the other on oculoplastic surgery. The successful candidates will work within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred eye care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnosis and management of glaucoma patients.
• Perform advanced oculoplastic surgical procedures, including eyelid and orbital reconstruction.
• Collaborate with ophthalmology, ENT and dentistry specialists to ensure integrated care pathways.
• Participate in teaching, mentorship and continuous professional development activities.
• Contribute to the development and optimisation of specialist services at the Qatar centre.

Required profile

• Board‑certified ophthalmologist with subspecialty training in glaucoma or oculoplastic surgery.
• Minimum of several years of post‑qualification clinical experience.
• Commitment to clinical excellence and patient‑centred care.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
