About the role
The Contract Administrator will oversee upstream oil & gas contracts, ensuring compliance, commercial protection, and smooth project execution. This role works closely with cross‑functional teams to manage contract lifecycles from tendering to closeout.
Key responsibilities
- Administer drilling, well services, EPC, operations, maintenance, and consultancy contracts.
- Monitor contractor performance, deliverables, and compliance with contract terms.
- Review and process variations, change orders, claims, and extensions of time.
- Support tendering activities, commercial evaluations, and contract negotiations.
- Maintain contract records, correspondence, and contractual documentation.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Project teams.
- Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks.
- Assist in dispute resolution and contract closeout activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Law, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
- 6+ years of contract administration experience in the upstream oil & gas sector.
- Strong experience with drilling, production, EPC, and field operations contracts.
- Knowledge of contract management, claims handling, and commercial negotiations.
