Controls & Assurance Developer

About the role

This entry‑level position supports the internal control framework and financial governance of a global organization. You will gain hands‑on experience developing, testing, and maintaining controls that protect assets, ensure regulatory compliance, and support audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Document and maintain internal control procedures, process narratives, flowcharts, and control matrices for finance processes.
• Execute walkthroughs and sample‑based testing of controls, record findings, and track remediation with process owners.
• Maintain KYC and vendor due‑diligence records, verify licenses, tax registrations, and banking details, and support sanctions screening.
• Monitor Segregation of Duties (SOD) by reviewing SAP user‑access reports, investigate conflicts, and document mitigating controls.
• Prepare documentation packages for internal and external audits, coordinate audit requests, and follow up on action plans.
• Assist in updating finance policies and procedures, manage review cycles, and ensure accessibility for stakeholders.
• Participate in finance system projects to embed control requirements.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or 0‑2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or internal audit.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with auditors, IT, procurement, and business teams.
• Good written communication skills for documentation and reporting.
