Data Architect – BI Team Technical Lead

About the role

We are looking for a senior Data Architect to lead the BI team, overseeing both OAS and Power BI development streams. The role combines technical leadership with hands‑on design of modern data platforms, ensuring high‑quality delivery of data solutions across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage BI developers, plan and assign tasks, monitor progress and ensure timely delivery.
• Review team deliverables for quality, accuracy and consistency, and provide technical mentorship.
• Architect, design and implement on‑premise and cloud data platforms, including data warehouses, lakehouses, ODS and data marts.
• Design, develop and deploy data ingestion pipelines, ETL/ELT processes and data models that meet business analytics requirements.
• Define solution architecture, governance, tools and produce technical documentation.
• Support UAT, defect resolution and ensure adherence to project timelines, scope and quality standards.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 8‑12 years of hands‑on Business Intelligence and analytics experience.
• Proven experience designing logical and physical data models and creating functional and detailed design documents.
• Demonstrated ability to lead BI or analytics teams.
• Bilingual in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Oracle 12c, ODI, OAS and Power BI platforms.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL database expertise.
• Design and implementation of data warehouses, data lakehouses and cloud storage solutions.
• Data modeling, semantic layer and KPI design.
• Data ingestion, pipeline development and ETL/ELT processes.
