Data Reporting Analyst

About the role

The Data Reporting Analyst owns the preparation and governance of every number the company reports, both internally and to external regulators and stakeholders. You will ensure that each KPI is accurate, reconciled, and documented before it is certified by management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the monthly metrics close, delivering a single authoritative value per KPI after reconciling dashboards, daily reports, and source data.
• Assemble periodic reporting packs for government, regulatory bodies, and third‑party stakeholders, including performance‑vs‑plan analysis.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between reports or dashboard panels, maintaining a data‑quality issue register and driving closure with the technology team.
• Maintain the metric definitions document and terminology register, ensuring every reported metric has a written definition.
• Control the master document register, document review calendar, and version‑control discipline so the latest approved version is instantly findable.
• Support external submissions and audits with clean, sourced, and consistent numbers and documents.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate to 3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, audit support, or document control, preferably in banking, financial services, an audit firm, or another regulated environment.
• Precise, organized, and skeptical of numbers until they reconcile; able to politely challenge senior colleagues with evidence.
• Bilingual in Arabic and English.
