Data Scientist – Group Actuarial Team

About the role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist to join our Group Actuarial team. The role focuses on developing and deploying data‑driven solutions that turn complex datasets into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy analytical solutions using R, RShiny, Python and SQL.
• Apply Large Language Models, OCR and web‑scraping techniques to extract and model unstructured data.
• Design scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform and Azure.
• Perform data management, cleaning, transformation and visualization on large databases.
• Build interactive user interfaces with Shiny or Dash for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Create and maintain predictive models, dashboards and automation tools.
• Stay current with advances in data science, cloud computing and AI.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s preferred) in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Actuarial Science or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in data science or analytics.
