Demand & Supply Specialist – Automotive Planning

About the role

We are seeking a data‑driven planning professional who thrives in a fast‑paced automotive environment and can balance customer demand with inventory optimisation. As a Demand & Supply Specialist you will ensure the right vehicles are available at the right time, supporting sales growth, customer satisfaction and profitability across our automotive business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage monthly vehicle order plans by model, grade, channel and colour mix.
• Analyse sales trends, market demand, stock levels and pipeline data to determine optimal ordering requirements.
• Maintain healthy inventory levels while minimising overstock and shortages.
• Prepare sales, stock and order forecasts, incorporating production schedules, shipment updates and expected arrivals.
• Monitor inventory ageing and slow‑moving stock, recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and OEM partners to align production allocations, order volumes and delivery timelines.
• Manage vehicle orders through manufacturer portals and track progress from production to arrival.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Pricing and Marketing teams to support new model launches, campaigns and forecasting activities.
• Support annual budgeting and business planning through accurate volume and sales forecasting.
• Identify supply risks, logistics disruptions and commercial challenges, providing proactive recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing, Automotive Management, Finance or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in demand planning, sales planning, inventory control, product planning or automotive sales coordination.
• Experience within a premium or luxury automotive brand is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of demand forecasting, inventory management, sales planning, stock ageing and order management processes.
• Understanding of the Qatar/GCC automotive market and premium brand standards is an advantage.
