Digital Print & Fabrication Operator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Print & Fabrication Operator to join our production team. The role involves operating a range of digital printing and finishing equipment to deliver high‑quality branding, event, exhibition and signage projects.

Key responsibilities

• Operate large‑ and small‑format digital printers (UV, solvent, eco‑solvent, latex).
• Run CNC routers, plotters, laser cutters, laminators and other finishing machinery.
• Prepare substrates, inks and materials, perform test prints and adjust for alignment, size and colour accuracy.
• Execute cutting, trimming, laminating, mounting, routing and assembly tasks on materials such as vinyl, acrylic, MDF, foam board, aluminium, PVC, fabric and paper.
• Prepare and modify artwork using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign; verify print‑ready files (AI, PDF, PSD, EPS) and manage production queues with RIP software.
• Perform basic colour calibration, profiling and quality checks.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical or software issues and carry out routine cleaning, calibration and preventive maintenance.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental procedures throughout production.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating digital printers and finishing equipment in a production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
• Capability to follow HSE guidelines and perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Effective problem‑solving skills for minor technical issues.

Required skills
