Director Marketing Communications

About the role

The Director Marketing Communications will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing, branding, and communication strategies that enhance the organisation's reputation, visibility and market positioning. This senior role drives brand growth, stakeholder engagement and strategic campaigns aligned with corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organisation’s marketing and branding strategy.
• Lead brand positioning, awareness and reputation‑building initiatives.
• Oversee corporate branding, advertising, media relations and marketing campaigns.
• Design and execute integrated campaigns across traditional and digital channels.
• Ensure consistency of brand identity and messaging on all platforms.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, partners, media outlets and external agencies.
• Lead market research, customer insights and brand perception studies.
• Oversee digital marketing, social media, content development and communications activities.
• Monitor campaign performance and provide data‑driven strategic recommendations.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets and resources.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing marketing team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Media or a related field.
• Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
• 12–15 years of progressive marketing and branding experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role.
