Director of Partnerships – Education & Research

About the role

The Director of Partnerships will lead the development and management of strategic collaborations with educational and research institutions, ensuring alignment with the foundation’s vision and overall objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define the overall strategy and direction for educational institutional partnerships.
• Prepare the business plan and annual budget for partnerships in line with guidelines.
• Assess, evaluate and recommend educational programs or institutions for possible partnership.
• Advise the President on potential partnerships with educational institutions.
• Identify educational requirements of research programs and match suitable partners.
• Handle all communications with potential educational institutions as the primary focal point.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle of educational partnerships from identification to operation.
• Coordinate with legal on contract negotiations to protect the organization’s interests.
• Collaborate with Strategic Planning to select appropriate locations and facilities for partners.
• Develop and maintain networks with educational institutions and stay abreast of current trends in education and research.
