Distribution Center Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Distribution Center Assistant to support daily warehouse operations in our distribution hub. The role involves handling inbound and outbound goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a safe and clean working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, unpacking and organizing inbound shipments following standard operating procedures.
• Support inventory movement by scanning products, shelving items according to barcodes and category requirements.
• Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting, loading, unloading and packing goods as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the assigned warehouse zone.
• Coordinate with senior DC staff to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of outbound orders.
• Follow documentation and labeling practices to support inventory tracking and minimize errors.
• Report damaged or missing stock to supervisors and follow corrective actions.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Proficiency in managing inventory levels and conducting regular stock checks.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations, barcode scanning and inventory handling.
