About the role
We are looking for a Drilling Engineer with a strong technical sales focus to join our team full‑time. The role combines petroleum engineering expertise with client‑facing activities, presenting our drilling software solutions, supporting field trials, and contributing to product development.
Key responsibilities
- Present ROGII technology to customers and demonstrate its value.
- Provide technical support during trials, gather user feedback and deliver solutions.
- Collaborate with product owners, drilling engineers and developers to shape the product roadmap.
- Analyze geoscience and drilling data to design innovative drilling‑optimization approaches.
Required profile
- Bachelor's or Master's in Petroleum or Drilling Engineering.
- At least 3 years of drilling engineering experience on unconventional and batch drilling projects.
- Creative problem‑solver with initiative in proposing solutions.
Required skills
- Understanding of drilling optimization workflows (ROP, connection, tripping, casing time, hazards, BHA analysis).
- Knowledge of directional drilling with motors and RSS, including quantification and optimization.
- Familiarity with real‑time drilling monitoring (parameter thresholds, Days vs Depth, torque and drag plots).
- Experience with industry‑standard drilling monitoring and optimization applications.
