E&I Supervisor - Offshore Oil & Gas

About the role

Wings Technical Services is hiring seven experienced E&I Supervisors for an offshore oil and gas project in Qatar. The role covers electrical and instrumentation installation, inspection, testing, maintenance and commissioning. Candidates must have strong electrical and instrumentation supervision experience in the oil and gas industry, and must be able to read and interpret electrical drawings, instrument loop diagrams, wiring diagrams and P&IDs. Vacancies: 7; duty 10 hours per day.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily electrical and instrumentation installation, maintenance, testing and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate manpower, tools, materials and equipment to meet project schedules.
• Ensure work complies with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project standards.
• Supervise cable laying, cable termination, instrument installation and electrical equipment installation.
• Monitor instrument calibration, loop checking, functional testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate with engineers, QA/QC teams and other disciplines to resolve technical issues.
• Inspect completed work against project quality standards and prepare daily progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with offshore safety regulations, permit-to-work procedures and HSE requirements, and report progress, technical issues and delays to the project management team.

Required profile

• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant electrical and instrumentation experience.
• Proven experience supervising E&I installation, testing, maintenance and commissioning.
• Previous offshore project experience is mandatory.
• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Instrumentation or a related technical discipline.
• Valid Qatar ID (QID) is mandatory; local candidates only.
• Available for offshore deployment and immediate joining preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, control systems and calibration procedures.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, instrument loop diagrams and P&IDs.
• Knowledge of permit-to-work procedures, offshore HSE standards and electrical safety requirements.
