About the role
Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for an Electrical Engineer in Doha to inspect, test and verify electrical installation works on oil and gas projects. The role covers quality monitoring of electrical works, from material delivery through to final testing.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect electrical installation and testing activities at site.
- Review ITPs, method statements, work instructions and quality documents.
- Monitor electrical material delivery, storage, installation and testing.
- Verify work completion against drawings, specifications, codes and project requirements.
- Monitor and record electrical testing activities carried out by contractors.
- Raise NCRs and submit daily inspection reports.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; instrumentation qualification is desirable.
- Relevant experience in large-scale electrical works on oil and gas or petrochemical projects.
- Fluent in English and proficient in MS Office.
Required skills
- Knowledge of electrical installation, cable laying, termination, testing and inspection methods.
- Understanding of QA/QC procedures, ITPs, method statements, inspection records and international standards.
