Electrical Trainer – Medium & High Voltage (MV/HV)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Trainer to design and deliver technical training programmes on Medium Voltage (MV) and High Voltage (HV) systems for our electrical personnel in Doha, Qatar. The role combines classroom instruction, hands‑on labs and competency assessment to ensure trainees meet safety and technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct classroom and practical training sessions on MV and HV electrical systems.
• Develop structured training curricula, materials and laboratory exercises.
• Assess trainee knowledge and practical skills through examinations and evaluations.
• Certify trainees who meet the required competency levels.
• Plan and manage training schedules, equipment, learning resources and training facilities.
• Maintain training laboratories, tools and equipment in operational condition.
• Coach, mentor and guide trainees throughout the learning process.
• Continuously review and improve training content, methodologies and course materials.
• Ensure all training activities comply with applicable safety standards and organisational procedures.
• Prepare training reports and keep accurate trainee records.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in the electrical industry.
• At least 1 year of experience delivering technical training or learning & development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Valid “Train the Trainer” certification.
• Bilingual with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to deliver technical training and strong interpersonal skills.
