Electrician – Events & Production

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrician to support electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and temporary power requirements for events, exhibitions, and production projects. The successful candidate will ensure safe and efficient electrical setups and provide hands‑on technical support during installations, live events, and dismantling activities.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems for events, exhibitions, and production projects.
• Set up temporary power distribution, electrical cabling, lighting, and AV‑related electrical connections.
• Conduct pre‑event electrical inspections and prepare temporary wiring layouts.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, Qatar electrical requirements, and event regulations.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, carpentry teams, and event crews.
• Supervise electrical installation and dismantling activities on‑site.
• Respond quickly to electrical faults and technical issues during live events.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, and technical diagrams.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma, Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Systems or Installation.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as an electrician.
• Experience in events, exhibitions, production, fabrication, or temporary electrical installations is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, cabling, temporary power distribution, and lighting.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle weekend or extended‑hour work.
• Physically fit and comfortable working on‑site with electrical tools and equipment.
