ELV Draftsman - CCTV

About the role

A 2-month ELV drafting position focused on CCTV is available in Lusail, Qatar, with immediate joining. The role covers electrical and low-voltage system drawings, including CCTV camera coverage layouts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, wiring diagrams, schematic layouts and CCTV camera coverage layouts.
• Generate as-built drawings from site modifications and redline markups.
• Support the site team with design clarifications and technical drawing requirements.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and consultants.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers and site teams to obtain the information needed for accurate drafting.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of ELV drafting experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Solid understanding of ELV systems including CCTV, access control, PA/BGM, display technologies, signal distribution and control systems.
• Experience with Revit MEP or BIM platforms is a plus.
