ELV Pre‑Sales Engineer (Design)

About the role

We are looking for an ELV Pre‑Sales Engineer to design and document low‑voltage systems for projects in Qatar. The role involves creating technical solutions, preparing detailed drawings and specifications, and supporting the sales and project teams throughout the tender and implementation phases.

Key responsibilities

• Design and document ELV systems such as CCTV, active & passive networks, access control, queue management, fire alarm, BMS, lighting control, public address, AV, guest‑room management, digital signage and IPTV.
• Prepare design drawings, technical and material submittals, system specifications, calculations (UPS power, storage, network), BOQs and tender documents.
• Review project requirements, specifications and drawings to develop appropriate technical solutions.
• Coordinate remotely with Qatar‑based pre‑sales, sales, project, installation and procurement teams; participate in online design meetings and provide technical clarification.
• Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers and technical partners to obtain product data and documentation.
• Communicate with local authorities, including the Ministry of Interior, to secure approvals and ensure compliance with regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of proven experience in MOI CCTV projects and ELV system design in Qatar.
• Strong technical proficiency in performing complex design calculations.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities, with confidence to liaise with authorities.
• Familiarity with local authority regulations and approval processes.
