Engineer - Application Delivery & Security

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Engineer to own end‑to‑end application delivery, global traffic management, web‑application firewall (WAF) and content/file threat protection. You will work with F5 BIG‑IP, FortiWeb and OPSWAT platforms to ensure high availability, security and automation of our infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and manage F5 BIG‑IP LTM (virtual servers, pools, health monitors, persistence, traffic steering).
• Administer F5 GTM for global DNS‑based load balancing and south‑north traffic steering.
• Own the SSL/TLS lifecycle across the delivery stack, including offloading, certificate management and TLS hardening.
• Design and maintain high‑availability clustering, configuration sync and failover for F5 devices.
• Implement and tune Web Application Protection policies (OWASP Top 10, custom signatures, API protection, bot mitigation) on F5 Advanced WAF and FortiWeb.
• Lead deployment, provisioning, firmware upgrades and backup/restore of BIG‑IP and FortiWeb appliances.
• Integrate FortiWeb with OCI Load Balancer and other cloud LBs for L7 inspection.
• Manage OPSWAT file‑scanning platform, triage results and maintain scanning policies.
• Drive infrastructure automation using REST API, AS3, Terraform and Ansible.
• Perform health and performance monitoring, root‑cause analysis, vulnerability assessment and patch compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.
• 8+ years of hands‑on experience with F5 BIG‑IP (LTM/GTM/Advanced WAF) and/or FortiWeb in enterprise environments.
• Experience with content disarm & reconstruction or multi‑scanning platforms (OPSWAT or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Working knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑code and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, REST API/AS3).
• Preferred certifications: F5 Certified BIG‑IP Administrator, F5 301a/302 (Advanced WAF), FortiWeb NSE 6.
• Strong understanding of DNS, SSL/TLS, Layer 4‑7 traffic management and file‑based threat triage.
