Engineering Lead (Process-C2 Recovery)

About the role

The Engineering Lead will provide technical leadership and process engineering support for a major C2 Recovery project through FEED and EPC phases. The role ensures that all engineering activities, studies and deliverables meet project specifications, international standards, safety requirements and operational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Process Engineering discipline across all project phases, reviewing and approving designs, studies and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes, corporate standards and project requirements.
• Support concept selection, FEED, EPC, construction, commissioning, start‑up and hand‑over activities.
• Evaluate EPC contractors, vendors and service providers for technical compliance.
• Monitor contractor performance and manage interfaces between engineering disciplines, operations and stakeholders.
• Conduct technical reviews, risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures.
• Maintain relationships with Operations, SHEQ, Project Management and external partners.
• Participate in resource planning, recruitment, competency assessments and mentoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum eight years of engineering experience in oil and gas or related industries.
• Proven experience leading process engineering teams through FEED and EPC stages.
• Strong understanding of international codes, safety standards and reliability principles.
