English Language Instructor – General Studies

About the role

The Qatar Technical Institute (QTI) is seeking a dedicated English Language Instructor for its General Studies programme, the first year of a two‑year diploma for military students. The successful candidate will deliver English Language 1 and 2 courses, following the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) curriculum and QTI’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English language lessons in line with MoEHE curriculum.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback and maintain accurate academic records.
• Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives within the General Studies department.
• Collaborate with senior instructors and military stakeholders to support student achievement.
• Participate in regular feedback meetings and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Strong command of English with the ability to teach both beginner and intermediate levels.
• Experience or interest in teaching military or adult learners.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive, student‑centred learning environment.
• Professionalism, flexibility and willingness to engage in continuous improvement.
