Estimator – Construction & Fit‑out Projects

About the role

The Estimator is responsible for producing realistic, accurate, and competitive cost estimates for quotations and tenders. The role involves managing the full tender process, from receiving enquiries to delivering final cost summaries.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and review contract enquiries, develop pricing plans and meet deadline requirements.
• Clarify scope with clients to ensure quote accuracy and align with expectations.
• Conduct site visits, attend tender committee meetings, and coordinate with the supply chain to obtain optimal pricing.
• Analyze supplier quotes, negotiate costs, and compare terms against tender standards.
• Prepare professional tender analysis, cost breakdowns, and markup presentations for internal and client reviews.
• Monitor tender progress, attend client meetings, and hand over detailed information to operational and commercial teams.
• Apply local market knowledge to diversify the supply chain beyond existing vendors.

Required profile

• 5+ years of estimating experience in the fit‑out industry, preferably with Qatar exposure.
• Technical education (B.Tech, B.E. or relevant diploma).
• Strong understanding of the full tender process and value‑engineering principles.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent business English, both written and spoken.
