Event Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Event Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale live events—including concerts, festivals, exhibitions and theatrical productions—across Qatar. You will own each project from concept through post‑event reporting, collaborating with marketing, ticketing, production, technical teams, sponsors, venues and government stakeholders to ensure world‑class events are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle: planning, budgeting, procurement, scheduling and on‑site delivery.
• Manage event timelines, run sheets and post‑event reporting.
• Coordinate marketing, creative approvals and ticketing partners (pricing, seating, sales tracking).
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, sponsors, venues and government stakeholders.
• Own budgets: cost reporting, reconciliation, vendor quotations and purchase‑order management.
• Support production/technical teams on stage design, branding, activations, sound, lighting, rigging and video.
• Oversee venue setup, food & beverage operations and guest experience on event days.
• Ensure all permits, licences, insurance and health & safety/risk plans comply with local regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of experience delivering large‑scale events (concerts, festivals, exhibitions, sports or theatrical/live entertainment) within the GCC.
• Strong stakeholder management, budgeting and vendor management skills.
• Fluent English; Arabic an advantage.
• Flexible to work evenings/weekends during event periods and travel as required.
• Must hold (or be able to obtain) a valid Qatar work visa/QID, own vehicle and driver’s licence.

What we offer

• Monthly salary of QAR 33,000 (depending on experience).
• Daily per diem when working on‑site or travelling for events.
• Ground transportation provided during on‑site event operations.
• In‑lieu rest days in line with Qatar labour law, with additional rest after major event periods.
• Location: Doha, Qatar.
• Contract: Immediate hire through February 2027 with strong potential to extend into a longer‑term arrangement.
