Executive, Biomedical Investments & Development

About the role

We are seeking an experienced executive to lead the identification, evaluation, development, and growth of investment opportunities within the biomedical and healthcare sectors. The role focuses on building a strong biomedical portfolio through venture development, strategic partnerships, commercialization initiatives, and investment management.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and develop investment opportunities across biomedical, biotechnology, healthcare, medical devices, and life‑sciences sectors.
• Conduct market assessments, commercial due diligence, and investment analysis; lead screening, feasibility studies, and business case development.
• Monitor portfolio performance and support value‑creation initiatives.
• Support the establishment, growth, and scaling of biomedical ventures and innovative healthcare businesses.
• Drive commercialization efforts for biomedical products, technologies, and solutions.
• Act as business owner for key biomedical initiatives, guiding product development and market alignment.
• Build and maintain relationships with investors, healthcare providers, academic institutions, research organisations, and industry partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Healthcare or a related field.
• Proven experience in investment management, venture development, or business development within the biomedical or healthcare sector.
• Strong track record of leading commercialization projects and managing stakeholder relationships.
